HWP has been cooperating with its partner in Hanoi, the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association, for many years. It was time to renew the trilateral agreement, which includes the Hungarian Water Association too and to set up a work plan.

We are proud to announce that Silex Water Technologies Kft. has signed the service agreement on October 11 with the management company of the Hungarian Water Partnership, thus becoming the 19th member of the platform.

Initiated by the HWP, a tripartite cooperation has been established within the Hungarian-Ghanaian water industry cooperation framework to provide professional assistance to the Ghana Water Company Ltd.

The president of the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, Mr Gyula Pomázi visited HWP on 3 February. He was the guest of the HWP Forum, the regular virtual club organized for the HWP member companies. In his presentation titled "Intellectual property, the oil of the XXI. century (?)" Mr Pomázi argued for smarter protection of intellectual property by Hungarian SMEs, in particular when doing business abroad.
There will be more than 2,500 exhibitors from 50 countries and now all exhibition halls and the outdoor area occupied for the May IFAT at Messe Munnich. The booth No. 112 of the Hungarian Water Partnership will be located in hall A2, which hosts the Water Section. The organisers predict a successful trade fair and HWP shares their optimism.
President János Áder visited our member company’s plant in operation, which treats the wastewater of Kumasi, the second largest city in the country thoroughly.
During his official trip to Ghana in January, János Áder, Presdient of Hungary visited the Kumasi wastewater treatment plant, built by an HWP member company, Pureco. At the site, in the presence of the head of state, Miss Csilla Kopornyik, CEO of an another member company, Puraset, donated a PurAID drinking water treatment equipment to the CEO of the Jospong Group.
Organized by the Hungarian Water Partnership and with the participation of interested member companies, successful meetings were held with 14 foreign government delegations and business partners from 4 continents during the Planet Budapest 2021 Sustainability Expo. Furthermore, on the margins of the exhibition, HWP organized a workshop, where 9 members presented their sustainable and innovative solutions to businessmen from Africa and Asia.
During the Planet Budapest 2021 Sustainability Expo, Water&Soil Kft. had joined HWP. The new Hungarian-owned member company is famous for its organic soil-conditioning product, the „Water Retainer®”.
HWP's network of domestic partner organizations was further expanded after a cooperation agreement was signed with the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry during the Planet Budapest 2021 Sustainability Expo. According to the document, the parties will jointly support the export of Hungarian water industry products and solutions.
