HWP was in Ghana to develop business relations

The CEO of HWP's management company, the HWP Nonprofit Ltd. visited Accra between October 17-20 and met with Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, the Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group of Companies, a multimillion conglomerate which constitutes of 60 companies, generated over 250,000 job opportunities, with operations across 14 sectors of the economy. It was agreed that Jospong Group will cooperate with the HWP in the preparation of the Accra Water Forum. This event will enhance the water related knowledge exchange and offer networking opportunities between Ghanaian, other African and Hungarian water experts, company CEOs, public administration representatives and academics.
Furthermore, Mr. Horváth met with the Ghana Water Company Ltd. (GWC) Managing Director, Mr. Clifford Braimah, with whom he signed a trilateral agreement about knowledge transfer among the GWC, HWP and the Nemzeti Vízművek Zrt. (National Water Works). The signing took place in the presence of H.E. Tamás Fehér, Ambassador of Hungary to the Republic of Ghana and Mr Tamás Ary, trade and economic attaché of the Embassy.
On the 20th of October Mr Horváth also took part in the official presentation of the board game developed and donated in large numbers by the Pureco Group to the Ghanaian children. "Pipe it Up Ghana" is not only an exciting game, but also an excellent teaching aid drawing attention to the importance of clean water and hygiene. The board game was formally presented by the Hon. Cecilia Dapaah, the Sanitation and Water Resources Minister of Ghana.
