HWP present at the Hungarian-African Week

Foundation for Africa organized the 1st Economy Days between 13-14 of September during the Hungarian-African Week, which took place at the Budapest Music Center, in Budapest.
The event counted with the presence of the President of the Foundation for Africa and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Congo Mr Mutombo Tshimuanga France, Deputy State Secretary for External Economic Relations from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Ms Katalin Bihari, Representant of the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises of the Democratic Republic of Congo , representatives of Hungarian and African companies, organizations and governmental bodies.
African participants from Congo, Nigeria, Ivory Cost, Ghana and Cape Verde presented their needs, products and services to the audience. Hungarian companies could also show theirs offers and knowledge.
The president of HWP, in his presentation, talked about the large sphere of HWP’s member companies’ professional activities and their diverse innovative water treatment solutions already well succeeded in Africa in areas, such as irrigation, water retaining, wastewater treatment, drinking water purification and health center installation projects.
The representative of HWP Nonprofit Kft. had opportunity to take part in B2B’ and workshops and know more about challenges and opportunities concerning Hungary and Africa. During the workshop about water management HWP also presented the various water industry activities of its member and discussed the challenges involving water related problems in Africa.
