HWP signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the Water Partners Cambodia

The Hungarian Water Partnership's bilateral professional relations with Asia are expected to strengthen from the agreement the parties signed in early June 2020. Based on the MoU, we can cooperate not only with the Vietnamese Association, but also with the water-related organization being active in the neighbouring country in the field of knowledge transfer, trade and export development, and increase Eurasian water cooperation. Due to the pandemic the agreement was signed in the virtual space, but it did not diminish its significance. After signing “ceremony”, Lao Cha, President of Water Partners Cambodia, expressed his hope having a long-term and fruitful cooperation between us, highlighting the global importance of the access to clean water. It is particularly important for HWP to share our water-related professional experience and solutions with Cambodia and contributing to solving water challenges of the country as well. After the situation returns to normal, we do hope to meet in person even at VietWater Trade Fair to be organised in November and discuss the next specific tasks.
